The Village of Coxsackie will be celebrating it’s 150th year anniversary this year, (incorporated 1867). Many events will take place starting with Memorial Day thru Sept 30th with the Owl Auction.
You can buy a 150th Historic Booklet for $5.00 at the Village of Coxsackie building.

Below are the events that will be taking place in celebration of the Village of Coxsackie’s 150th Anniversary:
Monday, May 29th- Memorial Day Parade-Honoring our Veterans-C-A Community Band will play on the lawn of Brady’s Funeral Home before the parade reaches the church corners.
Sunday, June 18th-Michael Rausch, Town Historian, will give a presentation of the Village’s history. Location: Senior Center from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Sunday, July 23rd-David Dorpfeld, Greene County Historian, will give a tour of the various churches in the Village from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Saturday, August 5th-Coxsackie Riverside Festival-There will be a tent displaying pictures of the Village (Not for Sale).
Sunday, August 6th at 1 p.m. Curator, Shelby Mattice, will be hosting a walk through the Mansion Street Cemetery and will be giving a presentation on it’s history.
Saturday & Sunday, September 8th & 9th from Noon to 5 p.m. Betty June Cure & her committee will be having a History Walk of Reed Street depicting the prior owners & their businesses. A Guide Booklet of the history of the various buildings will be sold. Rain date: September 15th & 16th.
